I know this isnt the best place to ask, but my damn news server doesnt carry
alt.comp.lang.php

anyway,

when a form is submitted from an HTML document into a php document, am i
correct in thinknig that a field named 'input' would bcome '$input' in the
php script?

while i'm here, are there any setting that i need to add to php.ini or in
IIS to get things humming smoothly other than the standard things?

cheers

Hamman

Try the PHP mailing lists and forums then, or at least Google. That
isn't the only PHP newsgroup either.

Certainly. In the php.ini use:

set humming_smoothly = on

Okay, snotty answer to a relatively inane question. You can't change
a setting in any ini file for any software to cure a problem you don't
have. If you're asking about general tweaks to increase PHP
performance, you're asking in the wrong forum, and there are a
bazillion places to ask where you can get legitimate advice.
