Gurus,

Running Windows Server 2003 SP1. Exchange SP2 and IIS 6.0. I host about 10
web sites, simple web HTML only. Family photos, etc...

Now someone approached me about running their web site which is basically a
forum web site where people who know each post comments and others respond
to those comments, etc...you know the deal.

Anyway, their webmaster built the forum using PHP-Nuke. Is PHP-Nuke
something IIS 6.0 can handle?

PHP-Nuke just *sounds* bad. Is it hard to secure to your knowledge?

This probably isn't the best place to ask this question. I personally never
have ran phpnuke in preference to Postnuke / Dotnetnuke. I would check
their forums to see if any exploits or security holes have happened. I see
PHP has exploits from time to time but don't keep up on it enough to say how
secure it is. Keeping PHPNuke secure is only one aspect, you have to keep
track of PHP, MySQL also. This is no different than using ASP / SQL Server
when supporting products like Dotnetnuke. Good luck.

Tx,

Steve

Check the PHPNuke support options for information like that.
