Oft file cannot be opened in IIS 6.0

Hi all,

I have a link to Oft file (Outlook Form Template) on existing web site. It worked fine, when you click on it, the Outlook form opens for editing.

We moved web site to Windows 2003/IIS 6.0 and from that time this link produced and Error 404. This is "fixed" by adding new MIME type in security setting for Oft file as text/html. Now it does not reports 404, but it opens it as text (which looks ugly).

What I have to change in IIS 6.0 to make it work as it used to in previous version?

Well, you told the system it was a text file after all... Smile

Change the Mime type. It's not text, so don't tell the system it is.
I have no idea what the type is supposed to be but an Outlook group
might.
