I know many people don't like pop-unders (a window that opens up under
the main window...)

I'd like to get your view on this... I just made a pop-under for my
page at www.appsoftheweb.com
I really tried not to make it bad-looking, since I know many people
hate these things.

What would you do? Would you keep the pop-under?

I went there with Opera and didn't see anything. Oh well.

Increasing numbers of users have browsers or utilities that stop pop-ups. They
will soon be obsolete because everybody hates them. It doesn't matter what it
looks like or how tasteful it is, it's an unwanted extra window.

Knowing I was going to get popped, I didn't even bother going there!

It's nice work, but I agree, I would ditch it. My left hand stays on
Alt+F4 and pop ups are killed immediately.

Also, your pop up window is too small and non-resizeable. I cannot
see the bottom of the Submit button, so an otherwise-nice page looks
bad.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
