I want to stop the web service to my site temporarily to do some maintenance.
However, I don't want to cut anyone off who is using the site.

Is there any way to see if someone is using the site at the moment? I want
to Pause the service and then Stop it when everyone is off.

Thanks!

When I need to do something like this I launch the windows performance
monitor tool. I choose the web service performance object and add counters
for current anonymous users and bytes total/sec for the web site I want to
work on. If there are no users attached and no traffic I assume that the
site is idle.
