Hi,
when communicating with servers, I see Last-Modified: and following
ETag: headers for tex/css files, and picture files like image/jpg and
image/png - but not for text/html. That's the same my freshly installed
Apache2 does.
One server I know does it also for text/html (it's an Apache/1.3.26), so
it must be possible to configure.
1. What option is this?
2. Is it discouraged for text/html or why is it off by default?
BTW, I tried both, static and PHP generated pages on my local
installation and my webhosters.
