Post subject: Microsoft Data Access Internet Publishing Provider Protocol Discovery OPTIONS /
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

Hello All,

Not even sure if this is the right group to post this message.. We are
ruuning a website with apache 2.0 and accessing via https. At some
point i have to export my data in excel format, i am able to open the
document in IE, but when i do as save as i get a message saying "the
website you are viewing needs identification etc...." I have the
following turned on in my htpd.conf file

BrowserMatch "Microsoft Data Access Internet Publishing Provider"
redirect-carefully
BrowserMatch "^WebDrive" redirect-carefully
BrowserMatch "^WebDAVFS/1.[012]" redirect-carefully

What do i need.. am i missing something. I did some reasearch and this
appears to be a XP MS-webdav client issue. Is there any work around
using mod_dav or something on that line.
Appreciate any help

Thanks
vivi
