Hi,

How can i determine if MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP is installed on my server and enabled? If it is not installed how would i go abou
tinstalling that?

That installs with MSXML. You can look in the registry under HKLM\CLSID and
search for MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP. You should you the version specific
MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP.4.0 for best performance (installs w/MSXML4).

I installed the MSXML.MSI file from that support site and that was fine - However when i try and run a page i get

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

Why is that? How do i make sure this DLL is registered?

Running this tool i get...

This HTML page should only be used with the XMLVersionText OCX with the version number of 3.1.0.2
ActiveX control failed to load!

Tom,

Did you follow the steps in the KB article for registering the correct
..ocx files ? Note that there are two different versions of the tool
each with a different ocx file which needs to be registered.

Also, you have started three separate threads for this one problem.
Its best to just stick to one thread - it makes it easier for people
to track the issue that way.
