The IIS 6 MMC doesn't show "Application pools"

Hi to all,
i've troubles with this things like in subject, and i don't know how resolve
this issue. The SO is Win 2003 Standard Server in Italian.
Can you help me ?

Your server is probably configured for IIS 5 compatability. Open properties
of the 'Web Sites' folder and goto to the Service tab, uncheck Run WWW
service in IIS 5.0 isolation mode.
