Post subject: IIS MMC to Specific Server from Command Line
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Hello,

I am looking for a way to use a command line to launch the IIS MMC so that
it immediately connects to a specified server. I can do this with most other
MMCs using a command like “compmgmt.msc /computer=ComputerName”. This does
not seem to work with the IIS MMC. It only connects to the local PCs IIS
services.

Basically, I am trying to script an IIS MMC connection. I would like to be
able to run the script and have it connect to a specified IIS server.

Thanks For Any Help
