Can MIVA be customized to define delivery area boundaries ..

Hi,

I am looking into use MIVA for ecommerce store front solution for a
local pizza delivery business' website.

Can MIVA be customized so that it can be modified to integrate local
delivery area boundary function?

For example, before start placing an order, I would like to be able to
have customers enter their zip code to determin the store covers the
delivery area.

If not MIVA anyone know any other ( close to off-shelf ) solution?
