We are trying to configure load balancing with IIS 5.0 on W2K. I read some information about IIS Plugin with Resin 1.1.1 and was wondering if this is the ideal method.
We are just using IIS as a proxy and a redirect to port 50000, which is a J2EE portal application. IIS is on default port 80, J2EE primary server on 50000/and secondary is on 500004. Our problem is with Cisco CSS, it only works routing directly to the J2EE servers, and bypasses the IIS ISAPI filter. We need IIS for NTLM/SSO requirements.

Any assistance on this matter would be appreciated.

Thanks.
James

We've had a format problem ticket filed with Cisco, which has been pending for about four (4) weeks! with no sign of light at the end of the tunnel right now. Also, Cisco is just another router, i wanted to solve this outside of the router issue, as the router only designates the server pointer/alternatives. Sounds like the Resin *conf file could solve it, then we can play with router, once Cisco comes back with feasible solutions.

Regards,
James
