Post subject: LDAP authentication / SSL
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

I try to configure a area in my webserver restricted to valid LDAP
users. The ldap server is on the same machine, so the access is simple
(no tls, no ssl).
Then I made another config with SSL, working too.
Now I want an https access AND the authentication through LDAP but the
login is not accepted anymore.
Any idea? Do I have to access the LDAP server through SSL ? Did I miss
something ?
Tks

Tks, it's OK now. I forgot I also changed Require ldap-user myName to
Require valid-user. Authentication was successful but not the
authorization (I still don't know why, but I will read the apache
documentation once more).
