Post subject: Issue with W3wp.exe
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

This w3wp.exe is using all my cpu? and it's preventing some of my web pages
from rendering .
Any ideas. What is this process.

It's a process that's used by IIS to run one (or more) of your web apps.

Sounds like you are running something in your web pages that is eating up
all your CPU. You'll need to troubleshoot it.
