Hello, I am trying to move our intranet from Win2k server & IIS 5 to a
new Win2003 Server with IIS 6. This intranet uses ASP and MS Access
databases. I thought I've covered all the "obvious" stuff and when I
run the intranet on the new server, I can browse around it just
fine...except when I attempt to go to a page that is a form. I then
get "the page cannot be displayed" error. The error code is HTTP 500 -
Internal server error.
Anyone have any suggestions on why this is happening? >> Stay informed about: Intranet fails |

Hi,
Do you have "Show Friendly HTTP Errors" disabled in your copy of Internet
Explorer? If so, do you see a more detailed error message on the screen now?
Cheers

I do not want you to "enable" it. I want you to "disable" it.
Cheers

Thanks Ken, I was able to figgure that out and as you can see above,
was able to resolve the issue. I ran into another problem afterwards
that having the "Show Friendly HTTP Errors" disabled proved beneficial. >> Stay informed about: Intranet fails |
