my local host through the browser I get The page cannot
be displayed

There is a problem with a program on the page you are
trying to reach, and the page cannot be displayed.

Please try the following:

Open the localhost home page, and then look for links to
the information you want.
Click the Refresh button, or try again later.

HTTP 403.1 Forbidden: Execute Access Forbidden

Frank,

This error normally occurs when a script (for example ans asp page) has been
requested and the web site within IIS does not configured to allow execute.

The solution to this is to use MMC snap-in for IIS to configure the web site
and edit the 'default web site' properties. The execute permissions can be
found under the 'Home Directory' tab where you can select 'Scipts only' as
this is sufficient for the introduction page in IIS.

Thanks
