If it's the Internet AV Appliance is blocking HTTP traffic and preventing
your company web server from working, it seems like you should ask for
support from the Appliance's vendor?
Or maybe the Appliance *is* doing its job, in which case you need to either:
1. Configure the Appliance to not block port 80
2. Move the Website such that it doesn't have its port 80 filtered by the
Appliance

Has anyone experienced problems enabling Internet gateway appliances and the
blocking of load balanced IIS servers using crossover cables and microsoft
network load balancing? We have the the appliance installed inside a DMZ
between a firewall and the SMTP server. The scanning of antivirus and spam
works without issue - however, our company web servers that host portal web
sites will not serve up pages.... So the appliance is blocking HTTP traffic.
Once the appliance is turned off the problem goes away.... Dell PowerEdge
servers using broadcom nics running 100full... The virtual IP of the portal
is the only IP address that is seen on this segment and is represented as
one nic even though there are essentially two iis servers.
