I am using the manage your server component to install
IIS, however upon completion, the service is not installed.
I am doing this from a Terminal Services connection. Maybe
that is the problem?

Doing this through terminal services is not a problem.
But I would suggest that you use Control Panel, Add
Remove Programs and them Add Remove Windows Components.
Select IIS and go from there...

Are you getting any errors?

I am not receiving any error message and nothing in the
event viewer. I have tried installig from the Control
Panel. Actually, both ways invoke the Windows Component
Installer.
I had this running on this server and removed it
successfully, obviously, and now it won't install!<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I saw this before, and there was a problem with the user profile. Try a different profile, (must be admin), or create a new one, login, and try the install.

Thank you. I hope this information is helpful.
