Has anyone managed to work around installing owa for Mx 5.5 on IIS6.0. Everytime i try, I recieve an error stating that " Exchange 5.5 is not supported by this version of Windows"
So I`ve thought as a possible workaround. Build a new server with IIS5, install and configure OWA Mx5.5 and upgrade the OS to IIS 6. This in theory should work, but has anyone come across any other solutions or suggestions I should try first.

Upgrading the exchange server to Mx2000 or Mx2003 is not an option at this time.

Whilst Exchange 5.5 is supported in a Windows 2003 Domain, it must be run on
a Windows 2000 Server, or a Windows NT 4 Server.

Ken, ta for the reply, but maybe I`m not being clear.

I would like to install the only the OWA component for Mx5.5 on Win2k3 and not setup a new exchange serverfrom scratch.
Still trying my work around, hope to have a result for you shortly.
Thanx.
