With a limit of only 5 connections, why on earth would you want to?

You could try installing SambarServer, it's not IIS but it works in a pinch.
I used this program for about 1 1/2, it now supports some ASP. Here's a

Hello,

Try this. Completely unsupported and use at your own risk.

Not supported. Apache works fine, if you don't need full ASP
compatibility.

There are hacks out that don't work most of the time to install IIS 5.0 on
Windows XP Home. There is no support for it, and it breaks one or possibly
2 EULA's to do so.

Some developers like to have a local web server running to test code from home.

Then they need to have WinXP Pro for that purpose. That's what it's for,
whether at the office or at home. Wink

Yes, there is a way around it, by modifying some registry entries, and
installing a small piece of software but its not worth... buy
professional instead.

Yup, I sure do. I just don't pretend that XP Home is a development
OS.

Beyond that, developers I know that *seriously* do work from home will
usually have multiple systems, including at least one test server to
deploy to. They often have access to the production servers they're
developing for. Personally, I have two home servers, a hosted site
and a number of production servers I can test code on. And I'm mostly
a casual home developer.
