Post subject: Install IIS on Windows XP Home Edition
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Hi,
Is there any way of installing IIS on a Windows XP Home edition PC. I have
an XP Pro CD and have IIS installed on my own computer at home, but I'm
currently staying at my parents house in Ireland for a few months and wanted
to install IIS on their machine, as I use IIS to test my PHP scripts on the
computer without having to upload to a web server. I have checked the
Microsoft website but from what I can tell IIS is only availible with XP
Pro. Is it possible to install IIS from my XP Pro CD (the same way that PWS
was availible on the WIN98 CD). Please help.

Thanks.
