Post subject: IPP problem.
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I am having a problem with internet printing on my
windows 2000 server. I have shared 3 printers and have
installed iis on the server. When I view the printer
webpage I get a list of the 3 shared printers which is
what I expected. But when I click on a printer to view
its details and add the printer to a workstation nothing
comes up. I am simply presented with the initial list of
3 printers again.
Example:
I go to http://myprintserver/printers
-I get a list of the shared printers on the server.
-I then click on a printer to view the details.
-The webpage goes blank like its trying to go to the
selected printers details, but the main printer window is
shown again.

I hope this made sense, and look forward to a reply.
Thanks in advance

Joel

I have fixed the problem. It was because I had an
underscore in the server name ie my_server.
