Post subject: INETINFO at 100% when receiving first SMTP message
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis, others (more info?)

I'm encountering the following problem.
I have two Exchange Server 2000 (last SP and hotfix) and on both the process
INETINFO works normally until the first SMTP message is sent to the SMT
Service. From that moment onward INETINFO jumps to 100% of CPU and systems
got stuck.
I checked for everything (configuration, virus, ...) but I have not found
anything strange.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi Can you show us the script that is involved with this?

If no script is involved, (since SMTP can receive without any scripting
being run) please attach

iisstate to inetinfo.exe and this utility can report what thread is doing
wrong...
Success!
