Post subject: IIS7 Windows Vista x Delphi 2006
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Hi,

I have Windows Vista, IE7 and IIS7 (all updated to the latest version)
installed on my computer.

Just installed Delphi 2006 and tried to create a "hello world" application
from it and got this message "the project cannot be debugged because virtual
directory 'webapplication1' is not configured with ASP.NET version 1.1. Use
aspnet_regiis.exe to configure the local IIS web server.". Did a google
search for this message and got a few websites written in japanese and
arabic, not much of a help for me. Tried aspnet_regiis.exe -i from the
command prompt without any success. I also opened the IIS Manager and set
the virtual directory (c:\inetpub\wwwroot\WebApplication1) to use
Application Pool as ASP.NET 1.1 with no success.

I know Delphi 2006 doesn't support ASP.NET 2.0, but what could I do to get
1.1 instead? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
