I get repeated errors on my exchange server trying to get a broken OWA to work.

MSExchangeMU reports IIS6 running in IIS5 isolation mode

Problem is it isn't so it is trying and failing to change it to IIS6 Worker
Process isolation mode so that it can recreate the OWA folders and is failing
miserably.

Is there anyone got any idea how to fix this aside from uninstalling and
reinstalling IIS6?

Please specify the version of Exchange and Windows involved. How are
you verifying that IIS6 is not in IIS5 Compatibility Mode?

Why do you think IIS6 installation is the issue and that uninstall/
reinstall will solve the issue?

If you uninstall IIS, OWA configuration in IIS will either be left
behind and corrupt the next install or you lose OWA configuration in a
clean uninstall (unless you reinstall Exchange/OWA as well...), so
uninstallation is guaranteed to be more broken than the current state.
Now, why do you think reinstallation actually fixes your issue?
