IIS as web server

It prints one table like
problem report
Message Id TCP_ERROR
Problem description The system was unable to communicate
with the server...
and so on..
i also turned off friendly error msg but showing same
thing.
i just ping my server with ip address and it works fine.
but it still doesnt work <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://211.30.190.39" target="_blank">http://211.30.190.39</a>
and its work <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://localhost..." target="_blank">http://localhost...</a>

You are seeing this error in your browser? Can you cut-n-paste the exact
error message you are seeing please? and tell us what browser you are using.

i m using ie 6.0
pls have a look at
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://211.30.190.39" target="_blank">http://211.30.190.39</a>
and you will the exact error msg..remember that ping is
working without ne problem

No connection could be opened to the host

I notice that the IP addess is on the Optus Cable network. Are you using
that Optus allows you to run websites on port 80? I think that is blocked
as part of the Acceptable Usage Policy.

If it is, just set IIS to listen on a different port 33 say. Then =
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://211.30.190.39:33" target="_blank">http://211.30.190.39:33</a> will get you there.
