Post subject: IIS 5.0 start up problem
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Hi all,

I'm having some problems with my IIS, please help. It seems to have started
after I changed Domian Administrator password. Maybe it's not related but
anyway... the problem is next... when I start IS Manager I get small prompt
"Yes" or "No" with "The system cannot find the file specified" error
message. No matter what I press it starts IS Manager. If I select "Connect"
and specify the server name or IP address I get "The system cannot find the
path specified". I tryied to reinstall IIS and even reapply SP4 neither
worked. At some stage of my messing I've got Event 100 saying "The server
was unable to logon the Windows NT account 'IUSR_xxxxxxx' due to the
following error: A required privilege is not held by the client. The data
is the error code." I wonder how the changing of the domain admin password
could cause this mess? Please tell what should I do to sort this out.

Regards,
