Post subject: IIS setup and NLB
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

My current web server is 2003/IIS 6. For reasons of speed and
availability I'd like to add a web server, add a SAN, move the IIS 6.0
site to the SAN, impletment NLB on both boxes and have both Windows
2003/IIS boxes use the same image, so that I don't have to worry about
the boxes running different code rev's of the site.

I mainly use ASP and ASP.NET and do alot of cals out to an SQL server
on the same same to dynamically build response pages and lists for my
users.

I've looked all over Microsoft and don't see a white paper that talks
about this kind of setup using IIS/Windows 2003. Is this a viable way
of running a website or am I misunderstanding what I should setup.

Thanks,

Jacob
