IIS responding but not returning pages (please help)

Start by making sure the service is running, and try a "Hello World!"
page from the server itself (See IIS-Resources.com for a *great*
article on this...). Keep in mind that FTP and HTML browsing are two
different services so fixing one may or may not involve fixing the
other. Check the event log, web site log and FTP log to see what may
be going on.

Is port 80 open?

Have you tried to telnet to port 80, instead of the FTP port (since we are
having problems with HTTP and not FTP, it seems to be a good idea to test
HTTP instead)?
