IIS hangs suddenly...pls help urgent

If your server is crashing or hanging you might want to
download our ReJuvin8 tool. It's designed to detect then
restart or reboot. It doesn't fix root problems but it
does give you some breathing room while you are addressing

What version of IIS are you using?

If you are using IIS v5, or v6, what happens if you open a command prompt,
and type in: iisreset eg

c:\>iisreset

We are using v5 I dint try using comman prompt.
Is there any reason why all websites stopped suddenly in
IIS.
And when i reboot machine it works perfectly.

There are lots of possible reasons.

- Are you up-to-date on all your patches? MBSA will tell you:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/sec...ty/tool

- Was it just the WWW Publishing service that couldn't be stopped? Did you
try to stop/start the IISAdmin service as well? Is there anything in the
Windows Event Logs?

- What happens when you try IISReset?

- Have you tried running IISState (www.iisfaq.com/iisstate/)
