IIS 6 Wind2k3 IIS admin wont start

Hi Kristofer,

Thanks for the response.

In the event viewer I only see event 7000 and on the services panel it gives
me the error of timeout.
This thing is driving me nuts.
The Eventvwr is pretty clean though i am having a problem with the DCOM
engine for an application that runs on this server. I assure the applciation
is not the culprit.

Hello,

Can you please copy the complete message from the event log? There are
a few 7000 IDs [1].
Do you have any other messages in the event log about service(s) that
failed to start?
Can the metabase be corrupt? Do you have a backup that you can try to
use?
