Hello to everyone,

My name is Matias Gath. I've been looking for a good place to learn
how to start a e-business and I think I found it. Would anyone with
experience be willing to help me to start to put this website up,
giving me tips? You are welcome to post a message or to contact me at
gatom55 DeleteThis @hotmail.com
Having someone helping me out to start this website would be a huge
help

Regards,

Matias, Mostly it depends on the type of business... Starting an e-
business is easy, actually getting it to make the kind of money you
expect is completely different... I know of some other places that
may help but the best course of action is treat it like any other
business... Create a business plan, Plan your work and work your
plan, have a fair amount of capital set up for either web design, and
advertising. and keep you expectations realistic if not pessimistic.
There are billions of websites out there and you need to get valid
traffic in order to make money.

One big suggestion is start a community related to what you do... Or
a community about your hobbies or something you are passionate about.
don't think about sales think about gaining an audience and keeping,
them engaging them, then you will find that some of them may be
interested in your business and because they already know you from the
community, they trust you and do business with you. But don't expect
over night success... You may think the community is great but your
visitors don't. You have to make it work for your visitors not you...

Hope this helps
Earl

Thanks for the tip, you have a really good point, but how do I start a
community like the one previously mentioned? I want to start a portal,
one different from everything seen. Why? because everytime I log on a
portal I'm not sure where to go, Half the things they talk about need
and explanation. If anyone can think of something that they would like
to see on a portal when they log on to it, please tell me, i'll add it
to the list of the USEFUL things this portal will have

Thanks for the help

Matias

Howdy Matias,

Try <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://bizynet.com/BIZyCart/BIZyCart.asp?GROUP=Cards&CLIENT=BIZynet" target="_blank">http://bizynet.com/BIZyCart/BIZyCart.asp?GROUP=Cards&CLIENT=BIZynet</a> for
an example of how I like to set up a links or portal page. These pages are
generated dynamically from a data base and it's not something you want to
try handling with hand generated web pages.

If you hit <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://bizynet.com/BIZyCart/Buy-Template.htm" target="_blank">http://bizynet.com/BIZyCart/Buy-Template.htm</a> you can see what the
template page looks like before it gets expanded.

Thanks, Chris<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
