Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie host/designer....and I have one site running nice on my machine
using apache 1.3.3. However, I have wanted to get two sites running but I
have had little luck getting it to work. when I change the conf to include
the virtual hosting blocks apache will not start. when I remove the blocks
it starts normally.....I wonder if someone could post a conf file that
simply shows two sites running off the one server? Or simply just tell what
the heck I'm doing wrong. I know this is probably simple stuff to you
guys....but too me not so much! Thanks for all your help.

Aaron

Take a look at the Apache documentation. You can use the -t option when
starting Apache (shown below) to find the error(s) in your .conf file:

-t
Run syntax tests for configuration files only. The program immediately exits
after these syntax parsing tests with either a return code of 0 (Syntax OK)
or return code not equal to 0 (Syntax Error). If -D DUMP_VHOSTS is also set,
details of the virtual host configuration will be printed.

HTH

Charles...
