Post subject: HTTPERR logs
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Hi All,

I have checked HTTPERR logs registry keys which will use to modify the
location of logfiles. Httperr.log is vital in troubleshooting and
performance-tuning IIS 6.0. By default, the log is in \system32\logfiles
I can modify the location of logfiles by modifying following registry keys
ErrorLoggingDir
Registry Path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\HTTP\Parameters
Data Type: REG_STRING
Default Value: systemroot\system32\logfiles

But on all my 5 servers I couldn't find above key.
I can see the httperr1.log in C:\winnt\system32\logfiles

Why I can't see the reg key. Your help would be highly appreciated
