I am using Windows 2003 Server with IIS 6.0. I am having a problem with HTTP
Compression (and it seems to be javascript related). Here is my issue. I
deliver banner ads across my entire site using PHPAdsNew via "Innovocation
for Javascript" (basically this allows me to rotate ads via javascript code).
When I first load the page I see the banner ad, no problem, but when I click
on an internal link (navigate to a different page) I do not see an ad any
longer. If I refresh/reload the page then the ad reappears, but plays the
same trick and disappears once I click on an internal link.
I know this is related to HTTP Compression because if I disable HTTP
Compression in IIS then the site is fine and ads display properly. I am also
having similar issues with another site which uses Javascript in the site and
doesn't display my .css correctly when I click internal links.
This seems to only be a problem with IE6 builds (maybe only particlar
builds). The sites work fine with IE7 beta 2 and FF. I have searched the
web for answers to this problem, but never got any direct resolution.
