Hi all

I use a Google Adword campaign for my website. Lately there have been
a lot of click throughs from Google's website that didn't result in
any sales.

Now I wonder... are all the click throughs really genuine visitors or
are someone doing automated click throughs and making a lot of
sommission on the side ???

Or is my business just all of a sudden going bad?

I'd like to have your views...

Google is good at doing the "Drive to www" thing, but Google cant sell
for you, maybe you should review how your website recieves people.

The visits to my website increased a lot and, from time to time i got
some enquiry from visitors wich, from time to time, result in a
sale...

Fact is that google adsense and adwords reporting are not very clear.
When you ask questions, the answer is always that it is a very
complicated formula...
Sometimes some acquaintance of mine was clicking on the add but the
statistics didn't change...
Sometimes also, they de-activate key words they call "weak" (zwak)when
they bring nice results in number of visits?!

I think you need a good way of monitoring your website's activities.
Not only the number of hits but also total and unique daily visits.
You should also monitor the number of times the various text links and
banners on your page are clicked on in a given day and see how that
relates to the number of page visits. A person must be actually
visiting the site in order that you will register clicked links.

I have developed server applications which monitor page visits, both
total and unique daily visits and number of page links clicked on in a
day. I consider Google Ad Words the gold standard for traffic
delivery services since the number of page link clicks compared to
page visits seems consistant with real visitors and not automated
click throughs. I even sold a few items on google
but not to earn any income as those online hucksters would lead you to
believe.

There are a lot of site traffic delivery services which I believe are
scams.
They let you think that you are getting more traffic for your money.
Sure, your hit counter will spin, but if you would scientifically
alalyse your site visits, as I have done using special site monitoring
applications, you probably would conclude that these are "sham visits"
done by site accessing programs or low quality popunder traffic. Be
careful and minimize losses to these fradulent operators.
