I need a new ISP, and just received an ad from Go Daddy. I've been
very pleased with their domain name service, and am wondering if
anyone has used their hosting services, and what they think of them?

I once found a web site that rated ISPs according to customer
comments, but I can't find it again. Does anyone know where it is?

Dave,

I have never heard any reviews about godaddys hosting service, I use their
domain service and it is very good.

What I have heard and seems to be true is that earthlink ( a popular ISP )
has all sites hosting by godaddy servers blocked (because of a customer
spamming I think), so as of now, people with earthlink probably couldnt view
your site.

Thanks,
Dan

I would guess that's not true as GoDaddy is very anti-spam while Earthlink
is known for hosting spammers.

I'm using Earthlink, and if someone can come up with an example or two
of GD-hosted sites, I'll see if they're blocked, here.

Thank you contacting us regarding unwanted email that you received from xxxxxxxxxxx.com

Go Daddy Software does not host or provide any mail services to the site. We are the registrar
only for this domain name. Current ICANN regulations dictate that the right to action is first
with the hosting provider and/or it's related ISP. We are, however, investigating email and
abuse related activity on this site, and will intervene when possible. Please note that this
may be the only response to your spam complaint.
