GoDaddy has raised their domain name registration prices. I have a lot
of domain names to renew before the end of the year. Who is cheaper yet
reliable?

They're probably just trying to cash in on businesses buying domain
registrations before the end of the year. I'll be the price goes back
down in January.

I have always been able to get a 10% discount on domain registrations by
doing a Google search on "godaddy discount code"

Its my understanding that ICANN raised their pricing by 50 cents and all
registrars followed suit.

I don't know how much GoDaddy charges, but we use dynadot.com -- $7.99
- $9.99

Stick with GoDaddy.

Reliability. Ethics. Support.

& btw, the ICANN fee was LOWERED to 20 cents.

If you opted into their email list, you'd have the code for $8.99
domains until Dec 16th in your inbox.

The best deal they have going now is the CEO donating $50k to "Feed
the Children" in Chad Johnson's name as soon as Chad does Candice's
GoDaddy dance in the endzone.

I publish GoDaddy specials for my clients as soon as they're
available:

Ethics? Most of the usenet spammers are registered with GoDaddy. Doing a
WHOIS on a domain at GoDaddy by any other means than the GoDaddy site doesnt
return the results just a link to their stupid site. I see that as spamming
the WHOIS service.

YES, Ethics.

GoDaddy's CEO exposed a scam where other registrars were "tasting"
domain traffic by abusing the grace period - rather than contributing
to the problem for personal financial gain. It seems fewer than 10%
of all domains registered recently, are actually paid for.

Bob Parsons calls it "rolling your own dice" when the actual
registrars are the perpetrators. Read for yourself or Google: "domain
kiting"

http://www.bobparsons.com/DomainKiting.html
http://domainnamekiting.com/

Are you so offended because you scam people by RE-registering domain
names and RE-selling hosting at marked-up prices? I can, but don't
REsell because I cannot offer the same quality and service at the low
cost - nobody can.

And incase you questioned the rest of my free advice:

Reliability: 99.9% guaranteed uptime
Support: 24/7 free support

Well, I think it WAS 22 cents. It's hard to get excited over a check
for $.02 cents.

What is the problem with transfering domain with name.com?

Probably because they are popular and easy to use.

They're far from the only one.
