I gave it a try... Seems legit. I registered 5 names, I'll see if they
work tomorrow. Smile

I couldn't find details on how to transfer the domains away after
registering them...without that I ain't buying.

If it takes four hours of chasing around to get the domain transferred to
sit along with the rest I've got, then that's getting expensive. At least
at my normal hourly rates. If it's easy it's a fair deal.

I was sceptical until I read the testimonies, especially Willy's. He
convinced me.

Well, Willy was only basing his opinion on one domain name. The little
girl - though - is the one that sounded the most convincing to me. I
think the clincher was admitting to her financial status yet but
having all the domain names she will ever need. Smart!

True, but I think that to get it straight from the horse's mouth (so to
speak) is important.

I can see their business model. Register a free .info domain, and then in
one year when it expires, if you've been using it for anything important you
pay for it to be renewed. Register 25 domains, which is their limit, and if
all of them are important you get a bill in a year's time to renew 25
domains Smile<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

After 60 days request the auth code for the domain from domainsite. They
are contractualy (with the .info registry, Afilias), required to provide
it to the registrant on request.
Once you have the auth code apply through your new registrar for them to
transfer the name from domainsite. You will need to supply your new
registrar with the auth code. Transfer will take 5 - 7 days.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
