Nah, only use this account for Usenet so do not want any email at it so it
is invalid.

Then you should use me RemoveThis @privacy.net , this email address is reserved for this
purpose, if a legitimate user really does have p RemoveThis @hotmail.com they'll be
upset that they're getting spammed from usenet Smile

Sven

Good point, never thought of it like that. Address should now be changed.

If you read the notes on the web site at www.privacy.net you will see it
is not reserved for this purpose, but for signing up to mailing lists when
one want some anonymity. Spammers will no doubt send junk mail to me@...
and because they usually put in a fake "from" address, I bet the bounce
message from privacy.net goes to some innocent user who is as puzzled by
the message from privacy.net as they might be cross about UCE. You could
surely use a 'blackhole' mail address on your own domain if you want to get
rid of junk mail from spammers, rather than increase the load on privacy.net
by misusing their me DeleteThis @privacy.net mail address for newsgroup posts. Peter M.

From the site "Is your e-mail address being captured from newsgroup postings
or chat rooms? Use the Privacy.net stealth address:"
