Sounds great. BUT what's in it for you? Excuse my cynicism, but I have
noticed email addresses farmed from guestbooks and used on mailing
lists, which is quite out-of-order. Or perhaps you carry a banner
advert, which some people would say is okay-dokey, but some would say
is theft of their bandwidth (no names mentioned, former nurse,
Australian, sex-obsessed, lunatic.....)
Please, be upfront. What's the score?

more than likely a required banner or graphic, or at the very least a text
link at the bottom of the page, not to mention plastered all over the "guest
book". Not a big deal if you don't mind that kind of stuff.

david VB? he gave me the impression that the point of the post about
internet advertising was just to get people to look at it from a
different perspective not that he necessarily agreed with what he was
saying. and dare i say it - an attempt to get people thinking for
themselves instead of being passive mindless media drones.
