true but you did not exclude it specifically, when you wrote what
you wrote. I know staghosting requires a text link, so I didn't
post a complaint that the suggestion failed your requirements!

Your request was for no pop-up or banner, was it not ?<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

=A0=A0Look at the size of the ad (above) placed at the bottom of every
web page you make. The link below goes to Free Host Department signup.

Yes, but when you LEAVE hostdepartment it has a huge pop up so I don't think
that will suit this person's requirements.

You didn't actually say no text links... And it would depend on how much
space and bandwidth you want, as well as extra features. You can find ones
with no advertising, but that will be the best thing about them. Check here
out - http://www.free-webhosts.com/no-forced-ads.php. I can't say the
quality of the various providers, but it lists those without forced ad's
(but what they call forced ad's, and what someone else does is anyone's
guess really). I doubt you will find something of real quality unless you at
least except text ad's, or you go pay. Sorry to say.

I've never seen that popup and I think that little link is pretty
unobtrusive. The site is free and if you need some pages to be absoutely
add-free, use the .wrl file extension assuming the host allows it.

It's a text link, you control the size shape and colour of it. There's no
such thing as 'free' hosting, there's *ALWAYS* a catch.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Got to go along with that Sven except I dont think any company would
begrudge the first page being totally the account holder's. After the
first I dont think any webmaster would begrudge a link to the host.

That's not true.
frip.dk, friserverplads.dk & frac.dk
are all totally free, with no ads, banners and other stuff.
