FTP files not showing update

I set up an FTP server and I log into and drag files into
it, but their not going into the server.

I searched both hardrives and the files are residing in

C:\ on the hardrive that was trying to drag them into the
server.

Why is this?

The reason you haven't got anybody to respond to this
issue is probably because you haven't supplied enough
information about it so they can help.
