If you cannot open the Internet Service Manager from the Administrative Tools folder, then you have an issue. Check for these services:
iisadmin
world wide web publishing
These 2 must be there and running.
Thank you. I hope this information is helpful.

| I'm not really sure of all of the version numbers for IIS and Server 2000.
I'm extremely new to all of this. All I'm trying to do is to Configure IIS.
Everytime that I open (SQL XML Support in IIS) and try to connect to my server
I get the Error: Server does not exist or is not available. I'm following the book on setting
up a Virtual Directory in order to publish a webpage, but I can't expand a server because it's not connecting.
It doesn't even show up under the Tree tab. Can someone steer me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Michael
