Post subject: Empty applicationHost.config in Vista Home Premium
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Hello, I don't know what's caused it, but I tried to run some tests on my
dev machine (a Vista Home Premium machine), and couldn't make IIS serve
anything (not even an error message). When I went to inetmgr I got a n
'Element not found' exception when I tried to check the application pools
or the web sites branches...I then opened the applicationHost.config file
to see that it was empty (well, 53Kb of 0 bytes to be exact).

Trying to deinstall IIS and reinstall, gives me an error, so I don't know
how to recover from this...anywhere I can get a default
applicationHost.config file?

Thanks,
Pablo
