Hi, I have a problem:

My ISP give me a dynamic IP 10.23.2.143 and I want to use a Personal Web in Internet hosted in my computer, when I use some web like http://checkip.dyndns.org:8245/ to determine my IP this return 200.12.238.166. I tried to see this two addresses in Internet but is imposible, I installed the IIS 5.1, the tcp port is 80. In some web page I saw that some ISP block this port, is possible to use another? and were I find it?.

This are my caracteristics:

Windows XP Pro all service packs and updates.
Cable Modem
2 networks adapters. One is for Internet, the other is for my own network.

Thanks for help.

Hi,

10.x.x.x is a private IP range, i.e, an internal network. Your ISP is
probably assigning an internal IP then letting you out over a NAT
connection. If this is the case, hosting will be impossible unless you can
get your ISP to set up a special connection for you. Of course, odds are
with most ISPs that do this, they probably did it intentionally and made it
against their TOS to host
