Dynamic Configuration

Hi folks.

Is there a way to make apache read the configuration _directly_ from a
mysql-db?Generating the files just by reading the db with perl is a
possible way,but not very..sophisticated.

The sense behind:i want to create a web-based configuration tool,which just
has access to a mysql-db which provides all neccessary informations for
apache.

Furthermore:is it possible to activate php/perl and so on on a virtual host
basis?
