New Domain-How to make work?

My non-profit has a working website, we're hosting it on a Windows
2000 server in our office, using IIS. It's working fine.

My executive director decided she wanted a new domain name.

Question: How do I make the new domain name work? I want it to go to
the existing web site.

Our current domain is: www.edenir.org
I purchased www.211alamedacounty.org, I entered the IP address of our
existing web site in the record, when I registered the domain. It's
been two days, and the record and the IP address shows up in Network
Solutions Whois.

Do I now need to do something in our IIS setup? What would that be? Or
could it be something else?

When someone types in www.alamedacounty.org, I want it to go to the
existing www.edenir.org
