Please Critique My Site

Hi guys,

I would really appreciate it if you could check out my website at:
www.WilliamLower.tk

I need to make sure it will work with lots of browsers and operating
systems.
I only use Macs, so I could really use some PC people to check it out.

There is quite a lot of fun, and hopefully useful free tools in the
'More' section that you might like, as well as daily news and comics.
Also, be sure to check out the fridge magnets page in more, where you
can drag those fridge magnet letters on a virtual fridge with people
all over the world.

1. I have a rule that I never launch websites with ads intact. I plan
for them, but I wait until I have some decent traffic before launching
them.

2. In your case, you have a full page ad even before the content of the
first page. Many of your visitors will leave even before they get to
your site, never to return again. It doesn't matter if you're not the
one who puts it there. You need to get rid of it.

3. The popups cause the same reaction.

4. There is no content on your front page. That is the most valuable
space on your entire site. Fill it with text.

5. The flash games load outside of your box on Firefox. There's a
Firefox version for Macs... try it out and you'll see what I mean.

6. Don't force your users to have their screen set to a certain size.
Let the content of the page fill the screen. If I set my browser window
size small, I can't see the content on the page. If I set it too big, I
get a small part of it filled.

7. This seems to be a vanity site. If so, you can put whatever the hell
you want on it. If you're trying to make money with it, you need to
focus on something. What is the purpose of the site?

If it's not a vanity site, there's plenty more advice. But this'll do
for a start.
