Hi again everyone, this is a knowledge question... In a connection string
such as ...

"Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;" & _
"Data Source=c:\somepath\myDb.mdb;" & _
"User Id=admin;" & _
"Password="

what delegates the user name and password? Meaning where might I go in to
adjust these values. I have Win2K server. BTW, second question! How to I
find out what version of IIS I'm using. It's either 5 or 6 but I'm not
sure. Thanks again. Rich

I am unsure of what you are asking about "delegates the user name and
password".

Win2K runs IIS 5.0

Hi Bill, thanks for responding! What I mean is that currently, my
connection string doesn't actually require me to include a user name or
password to connect using Dreamweaver MX 2004. It just shows as

"Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source =c:\somepath\myDb.mdb;"

I am getting Jet Engine errors showing the following...

Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80004005)
The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file
'\\Thrha_w2k\wwwroot\Database\test.mdb'. It is already opened
exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.
/Experiments/subscribetest.asp, line 130

Could this be (Assuming my IUSR_ is set up correctly) a cause of my
error above?
